FLEET & PILOTS
Tony Anderson, Founder & President Miami Seaplane Tours
Founder and president of Miami Seaplane Tours, Tony Anderson, is
passionate about flying! It's the first thing you notice when you meet
this airplane pioneer and innovator. His enthusiasm is contagious.
That passion is built upon approximately 10,000 hours of total flight
experience, having begun his flying career in 1979. In 1989 he flew his
first seaplane and it was love at first flight!
Tony's ratings include commercial, multi-engine, land, sea, CFI and
instrument. In addition to his flying skills, he is an aviation safety
counselor. Because of his expertise, his advice is sought by aviation
enthusiasts and companies around the world.
Over the past two decades, Tony has founded and currently runs several
successful airplane related businesses that take him to the four corners
of the world. One of those companies is Ultralight Adventures, a flight
school and seaplane tour business that has evolved into Miami Seaplane
Tours, replacing ultralight planes with the 172 Skyhawk seaplane. Wings
of Paradise focuses on sport pilot training, sales and aircraft
maintenance. FK Lightplanes USA specializes in importing and
distributing the FK brand in the US.
As an inveterate entrepreneur, Tony continues to innovate and develop
new business enterprises… Looking into the next decade, the sky's the
limit!
Adriel Anderson, Senior Pilot
From the time Adriel Anderson was eight years-old, flying was part of
his world, mostly in Cessna airplanes. It was, however, after a
thrilling flight in an open cockpit ultralight airplane with Bob
Muscrove, a close friend of his father's, that was the defining
experience where he realized that flying just might be his career
calling!
Conveying the same passion and enthusiasm for flying as his father,
twenty-seven year old Adriel Anderson has logged more than 7,500 hours
of flight time. This is in addition to about 400 hours of personal
instruction, guidance and seasoned advice by Miami Seaplane's founder
and rresident, Tony Anderson. Adriel holds a commercial pilot's
certificate with land and seaplane ratings and is an FAA certified
flight instructor.
Today, Adriel splits his time between training pilots at the company's
North Perry Airport facilities and taking people on the various scenic
tours in the company's Cessna 172 Skyhawk Seaplane based on Key
Biscayne.
